【摘要】:Polymerizationtimeprovidesameasureoftimeduringwhichshellacretainsitsplasticityandflowpropertiesatthespecifiedtemperaturebeforegellingorpolymerizingtothetoughrubberyinsolubleform.Thistestisimportantindeterminingthequalityofdifferentlots,usefulshelf-life,batchuniformity,andprocessingcharacteristicsofshellac.1.1Thesetestmethodscovertestsforshellacinthedrybuttonorpowderformtobeusedforelectricalinsulatingpurposes.Typically,shellacisusedasabondingagentformicasplittingsandreconstitutedmicapaperproducts,orasacoatingoradhesiveforothermaterial.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnosimilarorequivalentIECstandard.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.
